You, the eponymous horse girl (or whatever gender you prefer), have been sent to live on your uncle’s farm in the countryside. He recently bought a horse, but it looks like it’s not working out; if the horse’s behaviour doesn’t improve in a year, he will have to sell the horse or put it down. It is your job to bond with the horse in order to prove to your uncle that the horse should stick around.
Before the game begins, you must choose whether you are WILD or SHY. Your horse will be the opposite of you – you should learn from each other. You can then choose you and your horse’s stories.

My uncle showed me a new horse, he told me that it needed to be socialised and that it didn’t seem to like other people, just like me. It was rather peculiar, a warm tint to his coat, slightly hot to the touch with goat-like horns protruding from his skull. This is not an ordinary horse.
He told me that although it was young, it was unyielding, messy and had a history of dominating weaker creatures. During the first month we found this to be true. Even when helping the creature, it would resist. It did not want our help.

I know the horse recognises me but still won’t let me touch him so I let my uncle do the grooming. I don’t feel out of my depths with this one and I hold my breath whenever I am left alone with the beast, I dare not get too close as I don’t like the idea of being trampled or kicked.

I can tell he’s getting used to my presence but my clumsiness spooks him. Our last encounter was this afternoon, I thought the was a chance I could attempt to take him out and show him the autumn leaves, it felt like it was going well, I managed to get him out of the stable but he bolted when I slipped in the mud. I was unable to recover him, I called for my uncle again. Now I call him “Spook”, my uncle thinks it’s a ridiculous name for such a powerful horse. I’m not sure if it is a horse that we’re dealing with at this point.
